Quantic EMC Inc announces Sanmina’s Purchase of Omega PLUS

Software to be used in Sanmina’s Design Centers

Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Aug 22, 2000 - Quantic EMC Inc. announced today that Sanmina, a global provider of electronics contract manufacturing services, has placed a corporate-wide purchase for Quantic EMC software. Omega PLUS, Quantic’s Signal Integrity and EMC simulation software suite, is to be used in Sanmina’s North American Design Centers.

Following an extensive assessment of industry offerings, Sanmina chose to include Quantic’s EMC software for use in its Signal Integrity (SI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) consulting services.

By integrating the Omega PLUS leading-edge technology into their Design Centers, Sanmina’s product development teams are able to increase overall performance, productivity and reduce time-to-market.
